GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

  • Ensure that child is attending the school in proper uniform and prescribed hair style.
  • The child must be encouraged to do homework. However, parental supervision is important.
  • The child should be motivated to participate in the extra curricular activities for holistic development.
  • The tendency to relax during the whole term and somehow study during the exams must be discouraged.
  • P.T.M. should be regularly attended to discuss the performance and progress of the child.
  • See that your child carries books/note books according to the timetable. No extra books are allowed.
  • Parents are requested to notify the school in case of any change in their address and phone numbers
  • Criticism of a school teacher in the presence of a child must be avoided.
  • Please do not give mobile phone to your child. If a student is found carrying a mobile phone or any other objectionable item like pen drive, it will be confiscated.
  • Parents are not permitted to meet teachers during school hours. In special cases, parents may be allowed to meet the teacher with the prior permission from the principal.
  • Allocation of Sections/Houses and shuffling is fully at the discretion of school authorities and request for a particular section/house or change of section/house will not be entertained.
  • Parents are required to write the pupils's name, standard, section on all his/her belongings.
  • Periodical reports and the report book will keep the parents/guardians informed of the progress of their wards. The reports are to be signed and returned in time.
  • It is always advisable to write to the school about the problems of your child. Your letters will be replied after discussions with the concerned teachers.
  • The school has the right to teach any subject that is required and approved by the CBSE, both compulsory and optional.
  • Those parents who cause any agitation or incite others to do so against the school or join anti-social element to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the school will be liable to forfeit the right to continue teaching their children in this school. Their children will be dismissed without giving any other reason.
  • The school welcomes any suggestion and advice which is positive and constructive for the welfare of the children and the school. However, the school cannot guarantee to implement the same immediately.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or to take disciplinary action against a child whose conduct is harmful to other students.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline. They should take an active and helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  • As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not be asked for leave frequently.
  • Giving presents to staff or others, demonstration of gratitude or goodwill in their honour is strictly prohibited without the prior sanction of the authorities.
  • Parents should not accompany their wards to the classrooms. They should collect their wards from the school gate.
  • Private tuitions should be discouraged.
  • Parents should use the school almanac as a reference of work & conduct of their ward and not for criticism.
  • Payment of fee is the responsibility of the parents. Hence, it should be paid on time.
