LEAVE RULES
- As per CBSE Examination Bylaws, 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for appearing in annual examination, failing which no relaxation will be given in this regard.
- Leave must be applied for in advance on the prescribed leave form and the form should be submitted in the office.
- Oral intimation of leave will not be considered valid, hence the concerned students will be marked absent in the school records.
- In case of long leave/leaves during examinations, permission from principal has to be obtained in advance.
- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 6 days consecutively will render the students liable to have his/her name struck off the school rolls.
- There is no provision for short/half day leave.
- All students must be present on the first day and the last day of each term.
- Students must also be present on re-opening day after the summer/winter break. In case of serious illness, medical certificate must be submitted along with leave application.
- A student suffering from any contagious disease can re-join school only after the completion of quarantine period.
- Students are responsible for making up all work missed during the period of their absence.
